Cozy, tasty and always a place to relax. The waiters reserved and nice. The food regional. A small menu, but everything is delicious.

Wonderful. Very nice and friendly staff. Got a wonderful table with a view of the Hamme without a reservation. Be sure to try Labskaus and Knipp.

Very nicely located restaurant with a view of the Hamme, anyway into the nature reserve if you sit on the terrace. The offer on the menu is of course a bit small due to Corona. Nevertheless, dishes are available for every taste. The service was very friendly, orders were taken and carried out quickly. We were in the winter garden last night with a group of 8 people !! We were all very satisfied, it was delicious and absolutely right in terms of price. As a reward there was a wonderful sunset !!! Parking spaces 🅿️ are in the immediate vicinity of the main entrance !!

The restaurant is very nicely located and has a cozy outdoor area right on the Hamme. My 2 * rating is solely due to the service. The outside area was occupied. We waited a long time at the entrance. The service staff passed us without a greeting or any other kind of attention. When we kindly asked for a table, the waiter looked around and pointed disinterestedly to a table. After 30 minutes we were served. And that's only because other guests had already made the waiter aware that we hadn't ordered yet. Guests in our area tried to pay for 20min and were about to leave. There was no sign of friendliness here and we felt absolutely not welcome. From other guests we heard statements like "during the week it is ok, only at the weekend you can forget the service". It's a shame ....

New Heligoland has not been recognizable for a long time, a beautiful beach, space for mobile homes, a bistro and not to forget the peat barges, simply wonderful

If you love nature here is in good hands.

Pure relaxation in a great, rustic atmosphere. The food was good, the service quick and unobtrusive, there was a moor beer and you can watch the gigantic sunset from the terrace directly on the Hamme. Table reservations are strongly recommended.

A nice place

A restaurant is located right on the river, you can eat outside and enjoy the beautiful nature view or watch people go by with their boats. THE FOOD TASTED VERY GOOD AND THE OPERATION IS NICE AND FRIENDLY I CAN ONLY RECOMMEND

Unfortunately, after a long journey, we had to find out today that Monday is the day of rest and this cannot even be communicated on the website. Unfortunately we had to go again disappointed and will probably not come back.

Food very tasty. Service very friendly. Unfortunately, the meal took a little longer, about 45 minutes. But would love to come back.

The mustard sauce with pan fish is very tasty! Seven satisfied guests enjoyed the friendly service and good food. The location is in a great location, right on the Hamme, with plenty of parking spaces. We enjoyed being here.

Good home cooking and nice atmosphere. Especially if you can sit outside, depending on the weather. Very nice right on the Hamme. Currently there is a special page with chanterelles in addition to the normal map. The service is friendly, but today was a bit overwhelmed. Aperitif and appetizer did not have to come at the same time.

Good German cuisine, price-performance ratio was reasonable (3 people including dessert 67 euros). Had Knipp and it was a large portion, well seasoned and crispy fried. Service was friendly, but partly. somewhat inattentive. It was an almost empty shop, if it is full, I could imagine that it would be difficult. I didn't find the ambience inside amazing, the location does everything here.

Tolle Location

If they wouldn't have such a beautiful surrounding, there is no reason to go there. Food and service is really below average. Obviously all ingredients come from "pre cooked" sources (and they've not even tried to hide such). Sad but true. They pretend to be high class (also pricey), but they aren't. Sorry guys but I can't give you any better rating.
